By creating an account you agree to the rules below.
1. Who can use Rule Notes
You need a verified email address and must be a student or educator. One account per person. You are responsible for everything done from your account.
2. What you may upload
Only notes you wrote or have the right to share, as a readable PDF. Do not upload pirated textbooks, exam papers under embargo, someone else's copyrighted material, personal data about others, or anything unlawful.
3. Ownership
You keep ownership of what you upload. By publishing, you allow Rule Notes to store your file and show its title, description, thumbnail and metadata in the marketplace, and to deliver the file to members who unlock it.
4. Rule Coins
Rule Coins are a virtual currency with no monetary value. You earn them from daily logins, login streaks, daily tasks and publishing notes. You spend them to unlock notes; the uploader receives the same amount. Coins cannot be converted to money, transferred outside the app, or refunded. Balances may be corrected if they were produced by abuse or a bug.
5. Unlocking notes
Unlocking a note is final and gives you personal study access to that file. Redistributing a file you unlocked is a breach of these terms.
6. Chat conduct
Chat is for study coordination. Harassment, spam, scams and requests for money or off-app payment are not allowed. Report abuse from the conversation.
7. Availability
The app is provided as-is. We may change features, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.
8. Termination
You may stop using Rule Notes at any time and delete your notes. We may end access for repeated violations. Coins are lost when an account is closed.
9. Payments
There is no payment gateway today and nothing in the app costs real money. If paid features are ever added, they will be announced before launch.
